You picked a great day to visit Pike’s Peak. The day we drove up it was in the 70’s at the base of the mountain and in the 30’s at the top. The clouds rolled in and we did not get the magnificent views that you had. None the less, it was worth the drive. The lack of guard rails along the road was unnerving but we survived.

Amazing views of God's beautiful creation! And, since the road was closed when we were there, I especially enjoyed the video to feel like I could experience it for myself. We've been on numerous steep, hairpin roads on our trips with narrow roads and even some on gravel roads. The ride is half the thrill of it all and always good to make sure brakes, tires, and brake fluid are all good to go before attempting them. You literally feel one with the sky! Thanks! Oh, and did you bring any of the donuts down the mountain to see if they deflated? I would've had to test to see what they did!

Enjoyed the view of the mountains especially the ones of the clouds.
All the baked goods made my mouth water. YUM! The Salvadoran food looked delish! Glad you had a good time! Thanks for sharing!
