In reply to Karen Kimbro. That's neat! It must've been a WPA build, like a lot of Post Offices at the time. Apparently there are a lot of murals in post offices from that era that were commissioned by the Department of Treasury. I've heard people travel around just to see them.

Love all the pictures Isaac. Here is a little tidbit for you. The Mammoth post office was built in 1939, the same year as the downtown Boone post office. The first time I walked into the Mammoth post office it felt so familiar.
